Pile Driving's marine construction capabilities date back
to 1913 through predecessor companies - notably Dillingham Construction
and Delta Catalytic Constructors. Project personnel, a fleet of eight
marine rigs and a complete line of pile driving hammers including
high efficiency/low noise hydraulic pile hammer have worked on many
challenging projects on the British Columbia coast. Their project
experience and capabilities are in the following areas: |
| |
- Driven or drilled marine and foundation piling
- Construction of marine docks, terminals and mooring structures
- Construction and installation of concrete caisson
- Construction and installation of floating concrete breakwaters
- Heavy riprap breakwaters and shoreline protection works
- Construction of temporary and permanent sheet pile
- Deep marine outfalls and intakes
- Marine and river crossings - gas, water and fibre optics cables
- Underwater drilling and blasting
- Clamshell dredging
- Recovery of contaminated marine sediments
- Bridge construction
- Construction of temporary and permanent barge ramps.
